Expectations for the Head of Community Department
As Silba's Head of Community, you will be key in the expansion and development of our community in Denmark, supporting local branches and their activities and initiating the establishment of our new local departments.
Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating Communication: Act as a central point of contact between the organization's headquarters and local departments, ensuring consistent messaging and updates.

Facilitating Collaboration: Foster collaboration and information sharing among local branches, encouraging the exchange of best practices and ideas.

Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in recruiting new volunteers for various departments, and facilitate their onboarding process by providing necessary training and resources.

Attending Executive Board meetings twice a month (online).

Representing Community interests in the main board meetings once a month.

Collaborating with the team to meet strategic goals of Silba.
Key qualifications and attributes for the Financial Manager position include:

Great knowledge of Danish National Youth Council (DUF) initiatives that support volunteer management and local department growth.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience surrounding community development, volunteer engagement, and Silba's local branch activities.

Strong organisational and strategic planning skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
