About the project:
 

The project, with the working title “School of Democratic Participation”, is still in its initial stages and you therefore have the opportunity to add your personal footprint to the project. Our plan is to apply for a Pilot Project through the Danish Youth Council International Pool before May 1st 2025, and you will as a new volunteer be part of this application process. The overall idea behind the project is a series of workshops and training sessions aimed at equipping Ukrainian youth with tools to strengthen their voice in democratic dialogue.

We are looking for someone who:

​

• Wants to contribute to inclusive, democratic practices globally;

• Is enthusiastic, flexible and open-minded;

• Can commit to at least one year of volunteer work in our group 

• Has a high proficiency of English language — both orally and written;

• Is a member of Silba - Initiative for Dialogue and democracy

 

It would be desirable if the potential volunteer has:
 

• Experience with volunteer work and/or with organizational work;

• Has experience with working in international environments.

Project Manager:

 

If you have leadership and coordination skills, and preferably experience with being in a leadership or coordinating position, please indicate in your application if you would be interested in becoming the project manager of the group. The role of the Project Manager is to coordinate the Silba volunteer group, update and have monthly meetings with the Silba Head of the International Department, and be responsible for communication with the partner.
