24-03-2006: Denied observers makes 24 hours tent camp in front of the Russian embassy in Copenhagen

Friday the 24th of March, Danish Social Democratic Youth, denied observers from the Friends Across Borders Mission and members of other Danish Youth NGOs, will set up a 24 hour tentcamp in front of the Russian Embassy in Copenhagen.

Denmark does not have a Belarusian embassy, so the demonstrants will gather in front of the Russian. "Russia support the Lukashenko regime both morally and finansially, so we will draw the Danish attention towards the fact that Putin, respected by many Danes, is supporting the Belarusian dictator, responsible for the falsifications of the election and of numerous violations of ordinary human rights", says Michael Nielsen, organiser of the event and one of the Danish "access denied observers”.
