While thousands of Belarusian’s defies the threats from the authorities regarding any sorts of demonstrations, Danish youth political activists plan a quiet protest against the election process in the country people call Europe’s last dictatorship, Belarus.

Monday March 20th at 18.30 expelled election observers from DSU, SILBA, RU, VU and Europæisk Ungdom* gathers at the Town Hall square in Copenhagen with jeans and torches, to increase the awareness among the Danish population, towards the lack of democracy in Belarus, and to show their support to the many Belarusians, whom risks their life in the fight for a democratic society with free and fair elections. The Belarusian opposition calls their fight towards democracy in Belarus for The Jeans or Denim-revolution.

Everyone wishing to show their support for the Belarusian fight for democracy are invited to take part in the demonstration.
